Thumper's Hospital Adventure

"Thumper's Hospital Adventure" is a children's book which introduces kids to common cancer terms and the hospital through a comforting perspective (a toy animal).

"Thumper's Hospital Adventure" follows Thumper, a toy bunny, as he goes on a daring journey through the children's hospital in search of his best friend, Katie.  The two are tragically separated moments after Katie is diagnosed with cancer (leukemia), but Thumper will stop at nothing until he is by her side once more. 

All proceeds of this book benefit Make-A-Wish^®.

Hollywood Vampires - Foxwoods, CT 5/20/2018

The Hollywood Vampires was a celebrity drinking club formed in the 1970s by Alice Cooper.  In 2015, Cooper formed a super group (named after the club) with Johnny Depp and Joe Perry. Their first album “Hollywood Vampires,” was released on September 11.

Cooper, Depp, and Perry toured in 2016, and are currently on their world tour of 2018 (with hopefully another album to be released after they finish). 

I saw them in Atlantic City in 2016, and at Foxwoods (CT) this month.  It is incredible to see such talented musicians, having a blast together, doing what they love.  It'd be great if they toured again in another two years!  I could keep watching them perform.

House of MinaLima - Harry Potter Hidden Gem

If you are a Harry Potter fan, you need to go here!

London is full of incredible museums.  I recently discovered this free museum, called the House of MinaLima.

It is a shop and exhibition of the graphic art of the Harry Potter films, along with other MinaLima work. 

It is 3 floors (not handicap accessible), and open every day from 12-7 pm.
