A hodgepodge of creativity, serendipity, and "worldly" observations. I started this years ago, then life got in the way. Playing around to see if it will work as an author blog.

Welcome to my blog. I will post whatever I am working on, whether it be a creative writing piece, random blip that has made my day, or an opinion I would like to share with the world. I hope that you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing!
I started this years ago, and am seeing if I want to make it into an author's blog.
Remember, today is not simply something to get through, but something to treasure. So smile and enjoy it!!!

Boundless Bernard: Tower Bridge
Bernard could not stop looking at Tower Bridge. Such an incredible bridge!
Then he heard you could go inside the towers, and walk from one to the other. The best part? Some of the walkway was made of glass!

Boundless Bernard: Makes Himself at Home
Bernard arrived in London, and explored the surrounding area.
The British Museum was not a far walk. So much to see!
He loved the view from this pub.

Boundless Bernard Begins
If you have never heard of Great Ormond Street Hospital, stop what you are doing (after reading this) and check them out: http://www.gosh.nhs.uk/. Founded in 1852, it has been dedicated to pediatric research and child healthcare. It was the first inpatient hospital in the United Kingdom to be solely for children.
If you think that the hospital sounds a bit familiar, maybe you've heard of a "little" story, Peter Pan. In 1929, the author of the play and novel, J.M. Barrie, gave the rights of Peter Pan to Great Ormond Street Hospital. Peter Pan was the boy who never grew up, and the royalties from the story have been helping children treated at the hospital to grow up for nearly a century.
If you would like to support the hospital and their mission, you can find more information and ways on their website: http://www.gosh.org/. They even have a shop, where 100% of the proceeds benefit the children at the hospital.
This hospital is close to my heart, so I purchased a Bernard Bear to support them. Bernard can be found here: Bernard Bear. He is the charity mascot, and his name means "brave" and "strong." He is like so many children at all children's hospitals.
My Bernard wanted to see the world, so I began traveling with him as often as I could. Isn't he precious?
