Word of the Moment: Yerk

Yerk - verb - To throw or thrust with a sudden, smart movement; to kick or strike suddenly; to jerk.

noun - A sudden or quick thrust or motion; a jerk.

When the doctor hit Jimmy's knee with the hammer, Jimmy's leg yerked in reaction.
