The gym and I are not friends; not by a long shot. We are more of distant cousins that occasionally remember to send a birthday card to one another, but not the ones with money inside of them.
I suppose because it is still January and I must not have given up on my resolutions yet, (actually I just started on them last week), I have been going to walk around the track, and found that I had more time to just think than I knew what to do with. I started surprising myself with some of the “gems” I came up with. Many of the concepts seem very obvious, but when you play around with the wording, it sounds like someone smart came up with them. (Some of my “gems” I get a little too fancy with the wording.)
Here is one of them, and I will share any that I think are worth repeating:
Dwell not on what you had yesterday, but instead on what you have today. Not only do you not know what tomorrow may bring, you do not know what it may taketh away.
