All ideas are my original work. I do not take credit for work that is not mine. I may borrow pieces such as comics, definitions, or quotations, but will never pass someone else’s work off as my own; I will either credit their source or make it clear that I am not their author. I merely use these as either bouncing boards from which my own ideas can take off, or wish to share something that I found worth repeating.

Just Wondering...

     Do you know that song, "Just the Way You Are"?  There is a line in it that goes:
"When I see your face, 
There's not a thing that I would change.
Cause you're amazing, 
Just the way you are."
      Am I the only one that is offended by that line?  If a guy said that to me, I would not take it as a compliment, so much as he could not see anything on my face that he would like to alter with plastic surgery just yet; give it a few years of aging, however, and he might change his mind.
     Many songs out there nowadays have a nice ring to them and get stuck in your head very quickly, but some of the lines are very awkward when you really think about them.  Maybe it is just me on this song?
