Roses are Red, Violets are Purple

Roses are Red,

Violets aren’t Blue.

I never understood that poem;

Did you?

If violets were blue

They wouldn’t be called “violets.”

If there were only a word to rhyme with “purple,”

This poem could be one of my favorites.
