Welcome to my blog. I will post whatever I am working on, whether it be a creative writing piece, random blip that has made my day, or an opinion I would like to share with the world. I hope that you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing!

All ideas are my original work. I do not take credit for work that is not mine. I may borrow pieces such as comics, definitions, or quotations, but will never pass someone else’s work off as my own; I will either credit their source or make it clear that I am not their author. I merely use these as either bouncing boards from which my own ideas can take off, or wish to share something that I found worth repeating.

Remember, today is not simply something to get through, but something to treasure. So smile and enjoy it!!!

Bucket List: London Premiere

I have always wanted to go to a film premiere.  One in which the cast and production company show up.

Yesterday, I attended my first premiere!

"Rock of Ages" had it's European premiere in London's own Leicester Square, and I waited outside with hundreds of other fans to get a glimpse of the stars.

It was so much fun.  In attendance that I saw were: Tom Cruise, Russell Brand, Diego Boneta, Paul Giamatti, and Mary J. Blige.  Those are the ones I recognized at least; there were others of course.

There is something to be said about the excitement of the crowd.  Everyone just wants to see one of the stars, get their autograph/picture taken, or be able to say they touched "so and so."  It was frustrating being my height, when everyone who made it to the front was at least ten feet tall.  There should be a regulation or a tax placed on the vertically gifted, that they can not stand in the front of anything; it's just not right.  However, I think I have a game plan for my next event.

Here are a few pictures I was able to take yesterday:

And in case you were wondering about the "study" portion of my study abroad trip, my class starts tomorrow.  More on that later.
